These Soy Smudge Candles give off a sweet, woodsy smell when lit. Each candle contains and is topped with Himalayan pink salt. It is widly believed that both Sage and Himalayan Salt release negative ions when heated. Negative ions have a vast amount of positive influence on how we feel and the environment we are in. Removing airborne bacteria, mold spores and allergens and increasing seretonin are the ones I find most valuable.
 
Along with soy wax these candles contain sage infused olive oil. My olive oil comes Greece where my friends family makes it and send it to him by the keg. I then add Organic Sage from my garden and slow infuse it for at least 4 weeks before using it these candles. Well known for its cleansing and healing properties, the essential oils of cedarwood are also used in these smudge candles. "The priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the person to be cleansed” (Leviticus 14:4).
